The Paxton10 keyfobs (010-170) are proximity key fobs designed specifically for a Paxton10 access control system and supplied in a pack of 10. Each keyfob stores its card and user information in an encrypted, password-protected sector, and Paxton backs every one with a lifetime guarantee.
Issuing Paxton10 Keyfobs to Your Users
Enter the user's details into the Paxton10 web-based software, then present the keyfob to a Paxton10 Universal desktop reader (010-392) to register it. From then on, when the user holds the fob close to any proximity reader on the site, their credentials are checked, and access is granted or denied according to the permissions set in the Paxton10 system. If a token goes missing, it can be invalidated in the software, so the lost fob no longer opens any doors.
A Proximity Key Fob Built for Everyday Use
The keyfobs are durable, water-resistant and wash-proof, so one left in a pocket on laundry day is built to survive the machine. Paxton now supplies this 10-pack with a blue ring, and the white ring version has been phased out. The colour change makes no difference to how the fobs work. The smart, compact shape sits comfortably on a key ring.
Choosing the Right Paxton Fob for Your System
Paxton makes separate fob packs for each of its systems, so it's worth matching the pack to what's on your doors.
Switch2 and Compact. Standalone Switch2, Proximity Compact and EasyProx Compact systems use the Paxton Proximity 10 Key Fob Pack (820-010), which includes shadow cards so a lost fob can be voided.
