These genuine Paxton Net2 proximity keyfobs (695-644) are the standard token for any business running a Net2 access control system. Supplied in a pack of 10 with a blue band, they give your team a compact, keyring-ready credential that works straight out of the pack once enrolled.

What the 695-644 fob gives you

Each fob carries a unique 8-digit number that is factory-encoded at manufacture. That number never changes, so there is no risk of two fobs sharing an identity across your system. Enrolling a user is straightforward: enter their details into the Net2 PC software, then present the fob to a compatible desktop reader to pull the number in automatically. Once that is done, the fob is live. Present it to any Net2 reader and access is granted or denied instantly based on the permissions you have set.

The fob operates at 125kHz and uses Paxton's proprietary encoding, which includes a password exchange between the token and reader. That exchange means the credential cannot simply be cloned, adding a layer of security above basic proximity technology.

Carrying and identification

The fob has a keyring hole, so it can go straight onto a user's existing keys. If you prefer to keep it separate, it clips onto a lanyard or badge reel just as easily. The blue band is the visual indicator that these are Net2 fobs, which matters in sites where staff carry multiple tokens. Fobs for other Paxton systems use different colours, so a blue band makes it immediately clear which system a fob belongs to.

Compatibility: Net2 only

The 695-644 is designed for the Paxton Net2 system. It is not compatible with Switch2. If your system is Switch2, you need the Paxton 820-010 proximity key fob pack instead. If you are unsure which system you have, the blue band on existing fobs confirms Net2; green, amber or red bands indicate Switch2.
