The Paxton 820-010 proximity keyfob pack gives you 10 genuine Paxton fobs and 10 shadow cards, ready to enrol into a Proximity Compact, Easyprox Compact or Switch2 system. It suits businesses that need a straightforward, standalone token with no PC software, no network and no complexity.

What comes in the pack and how it works

Each pack contains 10 proximity keyfobs and 10 corresponding shadow cards, supplied in wallets. Once you enrol the pack by presenting the enrolment card to the reader, all 10 user fobs become valid and are ready to issue immediately. To issue a fob, take it from the wallet, write the user's name on the shadow card, and hand the fob over. The shadow card stays on file. If a fob is lost, presenting the shadow card voids it at the reader and the rest of the system carries on without interruption. Additional packs can be enrolled into the same system at any time, so you can grow your user base without reconfiguring from scratch.

Colour options and zone management

The 820-010 pack is available in three colours: Green (820-010G), Amber (820-010A) and Red (820-010R). The colour band on each fob is the reader's way of distinguishing between zones or user groups on a Proximity or Switch2 system. If you run a site with different access levels, issuing different-coloured packs to different teams is a clean, practical way to manage it. Compatibility: making sure you order the right fob

These fobs work with Proximity Compact, Easyprox Compact and Switch2 systems. They are not designed for Paxton Net2. If your site runs Net2 with PC-based access control software, you need a different credential. The Paxton Net2 proximity keyfob is the correct token for Net2 systems. It carries a blue band and a unique 8-digit code enrolled through the Net2 software. Check the colour of your existing fobs before you buy. Green, amber or red bands mean you need the 820-010 range.
