Paxton PaxLock Pro Euro Internal Lock for Net2 and Paxton10, EN179 Certified, Black 900-600BLThe Paxton PaxLock Pro is a battery-powered door handle with a proximity reader built into it, so you can bring a door under access control without running cable to it. This is the euro, internal version in black (900-600BL). It's made for securing inside doors. It fits any DIN standard lock, which keeps installation quick and simple.Running the PaxLock Pro Standalone or on a NetworkThe same handle works in three modes, and it has a clear upgrade path as your site grows.Standalone mode. For a single door, or a site that doesn't need an online system, the PaxLock Pro runs on its own. You need the door handle and a pack of cards or fobs, and each door is programmed at the handle itself.Net2. As part of a Net2 access control system, the PaxLock Pro talks to the Net2 server PC using the low-power and secure wireless technology of Net2Air. A Net2 PaxLock Pro door connects through a Paxton Net2Air Bridge (477-600), and every door is then managed centrally from the PC, with event reporting and remote management included.Paxton10. On a Paxton10 system, the handle connects to the server using Bluetooth® frequency-hopping through a Paxton10 wireless connector, and it can be managed from anywhere with an internet connection. Paxton10 also adds Bluetooth smart credentials, so staff can use their phones at the door.Wireless Access Control for Fire Doors and Emergency ExitsThe PaxLock Pro is FD30 and FD60 certified for fire doors and IK10 impact rated. That makes it a practical choice for internal doors where wiring a conventional reader would mean disruption to the building. It is also EN179 certified for emergency exits, provided it's fitted with Paxton's EN179 door kit. The kit and any other locking hardware are sold separately.Paxton Tokens and Accessories It Works WithThe built-in dual-frequency reader supports Paxton tokens, MIFARE® and HID® Prox, so it's often compatible with the cards and fobs a site already has in circulation. HID® needs an activation licence, bought separately. For a Net2 system, Paxton Net2 Proximity Key Fobs (695-644) are a reliable fob to issue, and Paxton10 key fobs (010-170) suit Paxton10 sites while also working on Net2.How to Install the PaxLock ProThe PaxLock Pro fits doors between 35mm and 62mm thick, and doors over 50mm need a separate fitting kit. Wiegand output isn't supported anywhere in the PaxLock range, which is worth knowing if you're linking into third-party door entry equipment. Paxton also makes an external version of the PaxLock Pro for doors that open to the outside, so this internal model is the right application for offices, corridors and meeting rooms within a networked system or a standalone setup.Starting in standalone mode keeps costs down on day one, and when you're ready to add more doors, the same handle moves onto a Net2 or Paxton10 network with no need to replace it.
