Paxton MIFARE® Classic 4k Key Fob - 695-150 (Pack of 10)

About These Paxton MIFARE Classic 4K Key fobs

This is a genuine Paxton proximity key fob, using MIFARE Classic 4K technology, for use with Net2 readers or any third-party reader that supports MIFARE. MIFARE is a registered trademark of NXP B.V., used here under licence, so this isn't a generic clone; it's the real technology Paxton's own systems are built around. Fobs are supplied in packs of 10.

Setting up a new 4K keyfob

Setting up a new fob is really straightforward: enter the user's details into the Net2 software, then present the fob to a desktop reader, and its unique number is read directly into the system. From that point on, presenting the fob to any Net2 reader instantly looks up the user's access permissions and grants or denies entry accordingly. There's no manual code entry needed once it's programmed.

Completing Your System

If you're setting this up from scratch, you'll also need a Net2 desktop reader to programme new fobs, and a Net2 Proximity MIFARE reader (P50) at the door itself.

About Paxton

Paxton is a UK-based designer and manufacturer of access control, door entry, and video surveillance systems, based in Brighton. Net2 is one of their core access control platforms, widely installed across commercial, education, healthcare, and residential sites throughout the UK, and MIFARE-based fobs and cards are among the most common credentials used with it.

Paxton10 compatible: Paxton10 readers also read MIFARE® tokens, so these can be used on a Paxton10 system as well as Net2.
