Videx Proximity Card, EM Format (125kHz) Overview
This is a genuine Videx proximity card (part number 955/C). It's credit card-sized with a gloss white finish and built for the same Vprox access control systems as our Videx fobs, both controller-based and standalone setups. It uses the EM4002 format at 125kHz, and like the fobs, each card is individually numbered for straightforward manual programming if you ever need to add or remove one without an enrolment reader.
If a fob suits your team better than a card, the matching Videx ABS proximity fob uses the same format and is fully compatible with the same systems.
Is This the Right Card for Your System?
This card is built specifically for Videx Vprox systems reading 125kHz EM format; it isn't compatible with MIFARE, HID iCLASS, or other contactless technologies some Videx systems also support. Before ordering, confirm your reader is genuinely set up for 125kHz EM, rather than one of these other formats. Check your installer's documentation or get in touch with us if you're not sure.
