Paxton Net2 USB RS485 Converter Kit (455-482)

The Paxton Net2 USB/RS485 converter, sales code 455-482, links the Net2 server PC to the RS485 data line that runs to the door controllers. It plugs into a USB port on the PC, which then detects the control units automatically.

• Black plastic enclosure suitable for wall mounting. A USB lead is provided.
• Needs no separate power supply.
• Onboard termination resistors, switched into circuit with a jumper.
• Data line in Cat5 or Belden 8723, 1,000 metres maximum, wired as a single daisy chain. Star and spur wiring are not permitted.
• Controllers keep working standalone if the PC is off. Events are stored and sent when it comes back online.
