Paxton 12V 2A DC PSU - Plastic Cabinet - 857-250

The Paxton 12V 2A DC power supply in a plastic cabinet, sales code 857-250, is a boxed backup power supply for Paxton access control. With a suitable battery fitted it keeps supplying 12V DC during a mains failure. How long depends on the system's load and the battery's capacity.

• Input 100 to 240V AC (1.2A), 50 to 60Hz. Output 12V DC, 2A. Three 12V DC outputs.
• Switch-mode, double-insulated PSU with a 1A battery charging current.
• Cabinet holds the PSU plus a Net2 or I/O controller, with room for an optional 12V 7Ah backup battery.
• Tamper switch raises an alarm if the lid is opened when connected to a controller or I/O board. Mains failure warning included.
• Operating temperature 0°C to +45°C. If used outside it must sit in a weatherproof housing.

Designed to connect to a standard UK mains supply via a switched fused spur.
