Alpro Slim Surface Mount Keypad Overview

The Alpro AS-626S-200 is a complete access control system for one door, built into a keypad slim enough to sit on a door frame or gate post. It stores up to 200 user codes and switches the lock itself, so you don’t need a separate controller, software or a stock of cards to get a door secured. Every person can have their own code, so when someone leaves you delete theirs and everyone else carries on as normal. Programming is done on the keypad, and the non-volatile memory keeps your codes through a power cut.

This keypad is ideal for sports clubs, Airbnb hosts, hotels and B&Bs looking for a simple but secure self-service check-in solution.

What’s Included:

  • Alpro AS-626S-200 keypad

Built for Outside Doors

A piezo keypad registers each press through the slight flex of a solid metal face, so there are no moving buttons and no gaps around them for rain or dust to get into. That’s what allows the AS-626S-200 to carry an IP68 rating. The numbers are anodised into the surface so they stay legible for years, and the security plugs over the fixings make the one-piece housing hard to prise off an unwatched gate or back door.

Wiring It to the Door

The 2 amp changeover relay gives you both normally open and normally closed contacts, so the keypad can drive a fail-safe lock, such as one of our magnetic locks for access control, or a fail-secure electric strike. It runs on 12V AC or 12 to 24V DC, which our access control power supplies cover. With the keypad on the outside of the door, one of our door exit buttons on the inside lets people leave without a code and completes the door as a working single door system.
